## Patent watch


Three inventors -- Donald Thomson, Randall Smith and Jerald Olp -- have received Patent No. 8,245,475 which describes a **construction method that utilizes post-consumer plastic**. The system recycles plastic into tiles, which can be interlocked to form a sheet or rigid structure.

Patent Application No. 20120220675 has been filed by Agilyx Corp., describing a **method of depolymerizing plastic waste and converting it into purified crude oil**.
