## PetroChem Wire: Recycled PP moves lower in late October

Prices for recycled polypropylene were mostly lower in late October, with declines of 1-2 cents per pound typical.

CoPP black pellet sold in the U.S. as low as 54 cents per pound at the end of the month, although a large supplier continued selling CoPP black pellet to regular customers in U.S./Canada at the mid-60 cents per pound level, delivered. HoPP and CoPP regrind were sold in late October to customers in Mexico at the mid-30 cents per pound level delivered, cash terms, at least 5 cents below FOB offers to U.S. customers.

In the October prime polyproplene market, spot prices were up a half cent to a penny per pound. Spot poylmer grade propylene gained 4-5 cents per pound in October.
