## Patent watch
Two Spanish inventors -- Victorino Luengo Marin and Javier Guilarte Saen -- have filed Patent Application No. 20120289753 which describes a **method of recovering thermoplastic material through a depolymerization process**.
Wilmington, Delaware-based INVISTA North America has filed Patent Application No. 20120282433 which describes a **used carpet cleaning and recycling process**.
Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., of Sidney, Ohio, has filed Patent Application No. 20120282409 outlining a method of **using nylon recovered from used carpet to manufacture components of a refrigeration system**.
