**Sims Recycling Solutions**, the largest electronics recycling firm in the world, has [announced][1] it **will pursue e-Stewards certification** at its 14 North American e-scrap processing facilities. The company's facilities are currently all certified to ISO 14001 and R2.

**E-Cycle Washington** has released collection numbers for the first half of 2012. Through June, the state brought in over **20 million pounds of covered electronics**, increasing its collection volume by 1.9 percent versus the same period in 2011. The **Association of New Jersey Household Hazardous Waste Coordinators** has launched [E-Cycle New Jersey][3], a free recycling program for residents of the Garden State. The association is also launching a public outreach campaign on the importance of electronics recycling and the state's e-scrap law.
