## E-scrap expansion roundup

Several companies have announced expansions to their businesses recently.

**HOBI International** has announced a new Phoenix, Arizona IT asset management and processing center. The 20,000 square foot facility is part of the company's expansion into the southwest United States, and will directly and indirectly create over 50 jobs, according to HOBI.

**Vintage Tech Recyclers**, an IT recycling company based outside of Chicago, has announced that it has leased a 21,500-square-foot warehouse in Riverside, Missouri in the Kansas City area. The company plans to create 50 new jobs in the next three years and expand the facility to 40,000 square feet.

**E-Waste Systems, Inc.** has signed a letter of intent to acquire an electronics recycling firm with operations in the southwest, central and western regions of the United States. The firm has a combined total operating space of over 125,000 square feet and its facilities are R2 certified. The London-based company said the acquired firm would be named after the deal closes.
