With the roster of companies attaining third-party certifications or audits continuing to grow, _E-Scrap News_ has compiled a round-up of the firms announcing certification this past week.
* **BCS Recycling Specialists** of Canoga Park, California is certified to ISO 14001 in addition to R2.
* **Sipi Metals'** Chicago facility is certified to ISO 14001. The site is also ISO 9001 certified and CHWMEG audited.
* **The Waste Commission of Scott County, Iowa's** electronics demanufacturing facility is now R2 certified – a first for a public agency.
* **Eagle Secure Shredding & Doc Mgmt LLC** of Tucker, Georgia; **First-Shred LLC** of Fridley, Minnesota; **IROW** of Mosinee, Wisconsin; Loss Protection & Investigations, Inc. of Fresno, California; **SafeGuard Destruction Services, Inc.** of Fort Myers, Florida; **Shred Right (a Rohn Industries Co.)** of St. Paul, Minnesota; and **ShredTex** of Houston, Texas have all either achieved or renewed their NAID Certification for Physical Destruction of Hard Drives.
